"God can do anything—far more than you could ever imagine, guess, or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20 The Message
Asking For More
God is not offended when we ask for more - only when we settle for less. Alan Scott
As we turn our hearts towards this new year, let's consider some questions for our Quest.
In what ways are you asking for less from God than He desires for your life in Him?
How might you have settled for less than what He desires for you and those He has entrusted to you?
How could your prayers change you?
How could your prayers change your community?
Are your prayers prayed in hope or faith?
What's the difference between prayers of hope and faith?
How do you move from praying about problems to praying about God's promises?
What has changed if there have been seasons of seeking greater intimacy with God?
What needs to change?
You ask and do not receive because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. James 4:3
Take some time with Abba Father and ask Him to reveal His motives and yours.
Lord, how great and wonderful You are! Lead us in our asking as we co-labor with You for Your glory! Amen
