Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine lepers? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” Matthew 17:17-19
Beyond Healing
What now?
Forgiveness proceeds healing, resulting in restoration.
This restoration equips us to live in the freedom found in God's original purpose—to love others with His love. We are formed in the image of Jesus Christ, who is love.
God heals us to enlarge our territory to be a part of His healing in other people's lives.
We may have benefited from God's healing, but this is not the end of the story.
Remember, it is His story.
It is all about God and the revelation of His love through Jesus Christ.
So whether we experience God's healing instantly or eventually, we can always experience Him eternally.
For He is our eternal Abba Father Who delights in living in and through us, exposing His love for all.
He desires that all may know Him and be in an abiding relationship with Him.
This is the ultimate healing!
With Him, we belong.
In Him, we have hope.
Through Him, we are transformed.
Lord, may we be the "one" who returns to praise You, resulting in our return to love others without condition. Thank You, Jesus, for giving Your life to us. May we know the healing that is in Your touch. Amen
