Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God's multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God's unmerited favor]. 1 Peter 4:10
What are you waiting for?
Permission?
Profession?
Perfection?
You don't have to be perfect to bless someone else. You just need to show up, love, give, and care. The world doesn't require perfection; it just needs you. Rachel Marie Martin
Each believer is given gifts from God to serve others.
To give these presents, we must be present.
How do we respond to God's generosity through us?
Go and give.
Be present.
Allow His love to pour out through your jar of clay.
Since your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, whoever you go to, you take His temple and His presence in you.
Just Go.
What has kept you from spending time with those God leads you to be with?
Who is God calling you to give the gift of:
Encouragement?
Healing?
Counsel?
Discipleship?
Presence?
Lord, may we not wait for inspiration, but may you find us simply obedient! Amen
