Have A Fruitful New Year

Ask God what His plans are for you. 

For I know the plan(s) and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Ask God to empower you. 

For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

Ask God to guide your steps.

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

Live in Him Daily.

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. John 15:4

At the end of our journey here, the only thing that will matter and have an eternal impact is the answer to this question:

Did I bear His fruit of love?

Lord, find us faithful in all things and all times. Loving others as You love us. We trust you to empower us to do what only You can do through us. Amen
