And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Revelation 12:11
I Die Daily
"Cornfields are nothing but graveyards this time of year, reminding us that unless we die, we will not experience His new life and bear the fruit He grows!"
'Two-thirds, I'm telling ya'!
I have heard the above verse quoted three times this year during gatherings and sermons; in each case, only the first two parts were quoted.
Why?
Unconsciously, for the speakers, no one wants to die to themselves.
Yet, absolute freedom is found when we recognize our death allows His life to live freely through us.
It is incredible how fruitful our death can be.
I am often reminded that dead people ain't got no problems!
Things like having to defend yourself, holding onto your rights, and eventually having things go your way are not attractive!
Your life is no longer about you; it is about Him.
He can live our lives better than we can.
May we see the abundance of fruit born from our death and His life.
I assure you by the pride which I have in you in your fellowship and union with Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily, I face death every day and die to self. 1 Corinthians 15:31
Lord, I have accepted Your life that You may live mine, the one with whom You have exchanged Your life. I have been crucified with You. Amen
